HRBC Weekly Roundup #31
A few final thoughts on a book that was sometimes uncomfortable, often enlightening, and ultimately empowering for anyone navigating midlife and beyond.
Real life has interfered. Not with reading, but with posting.
I found this book fascinating and have so many annotations and notes. I simply ran short of time to share. So I’m skidding in at the end of the book to share a couple of final thoughts.
My overall impression of the book is that there are sections that are challenging to read. Because they open up thoughts and truths that can be hard to face. At the same time, if you are willing to sit with the discomfort, it’s actually a positive and empowering message. At the same time there is SO MUCH information in here about how our bodies and brains work as we go through this stage of life. Information that NO ONE tells you! Information that needs to be shared because it would make the transition, the Upgrade so much easier to understand and handle.
I enjoyed this book enough that I have recommended it to a number of people.
